Our Anniversary Lunch will be held Saturday, April 21st @ 12:30 in Hiawassee, GA at Cafe’ Portofino’s. The restaurant is in the Shoppes at Fieldstone and sits high above beautiful Lake Chatuge. The view is spectacular and so is the food! The manager, Heath, and his chef have put together a wonderful buffet for our club and we are looking foward to spending a great day with our PMC friends celebrating another year with PMC.

Buffet menu will be:

• Carved Prime Rib with Au Jus
• Chicken Parmesan
• Shrimp and Bacon Corn Risotto
• Garlic Mashed Potatoes
• Vegetable Medley with Aparagus
• Caesar Salad or House Portofino Salad
• Bourbon Mushroom Soup
• White Chocolate Macadamia Bread Pudding
• Coffee/Tea/Water/Soft Drink

*Cash bar will be available to purchase “adult beverages”.

Road Atlanta has been home to the Classic Motorsports Mitty since its inception, and there’s no better place or time to enjoy a motorsports daydream. Join us April 27-29 for a long weekend of action both on and off the track. Even if you’re not a competitor, you can get your car on this internationally famous racing circuit by participating in one of the weekend’s parade laps.

The focus of the 2012 Mitty will be a British extravaganza and a celebration of all British marques, with special attention given to the ageless rivalry between Triumph and MG. Clubs representing these two marques will compete for best turnout in our Club Corrals in the infield, and the winning marque will receive special recognition in Classic Motorsports magazine. The single club with the most cars in their car corral will receive a special award.

Continue reading »]]> Miatas at Myrtle Beach was started by Fred Alley in 2006 as a kick off event at Myrtle Beach where other Miata owners could gather, show their cars and have a good weekend at the start of “convertible season”. Several activities were organized during the event with the desire to raise money for a local SC children’s charity, and for the Victory Junction Gang camp in North Carolina.
This event has grown to have Miata owners drive from as far away as Colorado to participate!
Track Day was added as well as other fun activities like a scavenger hunt, Poker run, Miata scramble, and the now famous and very popular “Beer (and Wine) Swap”.
We currently are benefitting the NC Children’s Home Society as our charity.

• When: March 17th
• Time: We head out at 9:30am
• Where: Ride meets at the State Farmers Market in Forest Park, Georgia at the Oakwood Cafe.

Drive goes to the Atlanta Motor Speedway, Fresh Air BBQ , and the Whistlestop Cafe in Juliete, GA and on to Macon, Ga along the driving trail through the city and ends at the Central City Park festival venue in downtown Macon.

The annual PMC Chili Cook-off will be held on Saturday, January 24th, beginning at
4p.m. in our home in Roswell. Besides the Chili concoctions, we will need a good
assortment of side dishes, desserts and appetizers. The club will provide paper plates,
napkins, plastic cups, soft drinks, etc. Adult beverages are BYOB as usual.

your RSVP. We would also like to know an approximate number of chili entries so if you know you plan to enter the contest let us know that as well.

To complete the celebration of the Chili Cook-off, we will continue the tradition of a gift
exchange by playing “Dirty Santa”. If you wish to participate in the exchange please
bring a wrapped gift between $15 and $20 in value to put under the tree.
